This policy explains what data howtomakemoneyonline.guide ("this site") collects, why, and what choices you have about it. See about for who runs it.
What we collect
Analytics. This site does not currently run analytics or tracking scripts. If we add analytics, we will name the provider in this policy before it goes live and, where your location requires it, ask for your consent first.
Cookies. The public pages of this site do not currently set cookies. The admin area, which only the site owner uses, sets a sign-in cookie. If advertising or analytics cookies are ever added, this policy will be updated first and, where required, you will see a consent choice before any non-essential cookie is set.
Advertising. This site does not currently display advertising. When ad networks are added, they may include Google AdSense, PropellerAds and Adsterra. These networks and their partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads, including personalised ads based on your browsing across sites. We will update this policy, and show a consent choice where required, before any ad network is switched on.
Free calculators and tools. The calculators and tools on this site run in your browser, and what you type into them is not sent to us. The income and expense tracker and the time tracker save your entries in your browser's local storage on your own device so they are still there next time. We cannot see them, and clearing your browser data deletes them.
Contact form and email. If you email us, we keep that correspondence (and any details you volunteer in it) only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
Affiliate link clicks. When you click a link to a partner tool or platform through this site, we log which page the click came from (including the referring address your browser sends), which tool was clicked, and your approximate country where our hosting provider supplies it. We use this to see which content is useful and which affiliate relationships are working. We don't log your IP address or any personally identifying detail alongside this. What we don't do
We don't sell personal data. We don't require an account or login to read this site. We don't collect more than we need to run analytics, serve ads, and evaluate affiliate performance.
Your choices
- Ad personalisation — you can opt out of personalised advertising for participating networks through the Google Ads Settings page and via the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out tool.
- Cookies generally — your browser lets you block or delete cookies; doing so may affect how parts of the site work.
- Access or deletion requests — email [email protected] and we'll respond to any GDPR/CCPA-style access or deletion request that applies to you.
Children
This site isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction).
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will move and, for significant changes, we'll note what changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update.
